Hello all who read this humble blog of mine. It's been forever since I've posted. I've been super duper busy with life and school. But today I set up an interview with the Brick House Boutique owner and the owner of Tesori Boutique! SUPER EXCITED! I will have to post the videos. Well that's the update, BYE!

Here is my official logos for my boutique! I created this in Graphic Design class. I used Adobe Illustrator. I really like it. I got Evera Boutique from my pseudonym essay in Senior English. The name means "life of faith" I love how this project is taking a full circle.

It's been a while since I posted. Finals are over, and Christmas break is coming to a close. I'm actually looking forward to school this semester. Its my last semester in high school and I'll be posting about my project more. So many exciting changes to come in 2011! BRING IT ON :)

Today in Graphic Design class we received our final project assignment. It is to create a business name, logo, and various items such as a letterhead, business cards, Tshirts, or anything else. This is the perfect opportunity to use this assignment for my Senior Project! I'm excited! We have 30 thumbnails due on Monday. I've already started thinking of names and logos. Some of the names I've thought of are Evera Boutique (pronounced EE-vir-uh) Closet Boutique, Vera Boutique, Fresh Boutique...I'm still brainstorming. I'm open to ideas! I can really enhance my Senior Project with this assignment. Whoo!

Deadlines

Today was a busy day at school. I found out I have many deadlines approaching very very quickly. My Senior Project Letter of Intent is due FRIDAY. Oh boy. I need to get it together. In this letter I must explain my purpose or objective of my project, explain what I already know about it and what I intend to learn from it. I also must include 6 reliable sources and include my observation sites. I must have 3 to 5 hours of observation. I am planning on observing the small boutiques in my town. Thank goodness I have multiple options! So if I don't update much this week, you know why.

Hello blogging world!

My name is Andrea and I am a high school senior. At my high school, seniors are required to do a "Senior Project" in order to graduate. I chose to research and present a project on "How to Start Your Own Boutique." I wanted to choose a topic that I would love learning more about. I absolutely love to be creative. Through this project I will be able to research a topic that could allow me to do something I love.

In this blog I will post pictures of the different boutiques I will explore and comment on them. I will give my opinion on these boutiques based on my research of store layout, marketing, merchandise choice, and the effectiveness of the boutique. Through my research I will enhance my own ideas and create my very own "dream boutique." This blog will become my creative outlet of my research paper and a journal to record my ideas.

I hope this blog is beneficial to anyone reading and that I inspire my readers!
